In 2020, at the height of the pandemic, VIGEL was selected by an automotive producer's leader in electrical vehicles to provide state-of-the-art machining centers for the production of a particular component of their new cars. The project consists of the machining of a structural component intended to drastically reduce the number of structural parts of the electric car, from 70 to 1 only. An innovative product, capable of solving numerous problems related to the peculiarities of the company's production needs. A prestigious project that also saw the important contribution of VIGEL in the development stages of the production process of the component in question. Today, five years later, VIGEL is present with this product in all production plants of all the main car-makers in the United States, Europe, and Asia.
