Since its foundation in 1947, Vigel has been led by the same family ownership, that marks the long road taken by a tight-knit family with strong corporate convictions. The philosophy centred on innovation, clients and openness to the global market has brought the company to a natural and constant evolution over the decades, its product offering has evolved from special machines—still part of our know-how and capabilities—to flexible machining centre solutions. 

With an eye towards the future, Vigel remains at the forefront of innovation and technological advancement as demonstrated by the recent entry into the EV market with its GiGa casting machining solution which brings Vigel once again to directly serve the major carmakers. Today Vigel is leading the market in a number of applications related to Mega and GiGa casting machining trends.

In 2023, thanks to the acquisition of CTV lines, high end Vertical Pick-up Lathes from DMG MORI, Vigel has been able to enlarge its range of product and enters into the round parts machining market as an evolution of its horizons in manufacturing technologies

Today, Vigel is considered among the pioneers of the multi-spindle Machining Centers and one of the most qualified producers of advanced manufacturing technologies.

Vigel has a direct presence in 7 countries. Design, Production & Service Headquarter in Torino since its foundation, in 2007 a sister Company was opened in India, increasing Vigel's flexibility and international operations.
Beside its long-standing sales & service subsidiary in the US (stablished in 2000 and recently renewed), Vigel has made a step further in North America establishing a new subsidiary, Vigel México (2013) reinforcing its presence in the field and proximity to its customers. In 2010 Suzhou Vigel Technical Service Co ,Ltd became operational guaranteeing commercial, service and spare parts support in a key market for Vigel today: China.

Each delivery, during incoming material acceptance, is subjected to rigorous quality checks carried out with advanced instruments and skilled personnel. The same rigorous checks are applied to in-house manufactured components and on the final product before commissioning at all our manufacturing sites.
