Vertical pick-up lathes

High-end turning technology

Precision and versatility for all your machining needs

The CTV line, the latest generation of vertical pick-up turning, are designed to meet diverse production requirements and with applications in different sectors from automotive to aerospace and not limited to. The CTV line combines precision, efficiency, and a compact design, making it the ultimate partner for superior machining performance. With a space-saving footprint of just 12.5 m², including integrated automation, the CTV line maximizes flexibility in machining complex workpieces, the DUO version allows to easily complete machining when two setups are needed reducing part handling, automation costs and non productive times.

Machine's Structure

Left/right version vertical turning center: compact, fast, flexible and highly productive, suitable for all productions with optimal accessibility for automation and interconnection. To machine the widest possible range of components, our vertical turning centers are available in different versions to efficiently perform batch machining. With flexible clamping systems, families of different components can also be easily machined. All auxiliary devices are integrated into the machine, enabling quick installations and easy relocations. All our vertical turning centers have a space-saving design due to integrated part handling.

Vertical Pick-Up Spindle

At the heart of the CTV Series is the vertical pick-up working spindle, which operates along the X and Z axes. This advanced spindle design minimizes load and unload times, significantly enhancing production efficiency. Additionally, the machines can be equipped with a Y-axis, allowing for the machining of complex geometries, making the CTV Series ideal for intricate component manufacturing.

Revolver Turret

The CTV Line uses an extremely fast and precise tool turret, delivering a chip-to-chip time of just 0.25 seconds thanks to its servo-driven turret.

The CTV Turret is equipped with 12 tool pockets for fixed or motorised tools.
For motorized tools, the CTV can be equipped with a high-torque or a high-speed Revolver Turret.

Additionally, the CTV are also equipped with extra fixed position tool that can be dedicated to specific machining operations.

Integrated Automation

Multiple automation solutions are available to cater different machining needs:

  • Prismatic conveyor: standard for not position-oriented workpieces.
  • Prismatic conveyor with pallets: if necessary for position-oriented machining and to prevent the parts from scratches.
  • Shuttle with exit on the back (optional on the front).
  • Integrated portal consisting of portal gripper and optional flip-over station for shuttle loading and unloading.
  • Additional accumulation conveyors for raw and finished parts, ideal for high-volume production and interlinked machining lines.
  • Customised automation: optional accumulation pallet conveyor belt for tailored solutions.
